Blue Water and Tropical Island Beach - Endangered Shore Birds in

Rare migratory birds such as the brown footed booby often stop to take a rest on the white sand of Bird Island, and many also mate and nest here annually as well. In this picture I used a circluar polarizer to remove the reflection from the shallow blue water that surrounds the island and bring out as much of the color contrast as possible.
