Palawan Paradise Island - Blue Water and White Sand

Using a circular polarizer to remove the reflection from the blue water that surrounds Tubbataha's "Bird Island" dramatically increased the saturation of the colors and the contrast. Maybe it's because I learned about photography by starting out shooting Fuji Velvia slide film, but even to this day as a photographer I look for bright colors and high contrast.
